Technology Development

  • CilOCT

CilOCT is an open-source software for semi-automatic segmentation of the ciliary muscle (CM) within optical coherence tomography (OCT) images.

  • AuReTim

AuReTim is a low-cost and extensible open-source portable psychomotor vigilance test (PVT) using auditory stimuli.

  • Pupillography and Gaze-Tracking

We developed an optimized implementation of the Starburst and RANSAC algorithms in JavaTM, offering high-speed (> 100 FPS) pupillography and gaze tracking.

  • ElVisML

The standards and recommendations for electrophysiological recordings in ophthalmology published by the International Society for Clinical Electrophysiology of Vision (ISCEV) define a set of protocols with stimulus parameters, acquisition settings, and recording conditions to unify data and enable comparability of results across centers.

  • Marble Electrode

Inexpensive and easy-to-use hydrogel “marble” electrodes made of a commercially available hydrogel formulation (acrylic sodium salt of cross-linked polyacrylic acid, PAA) for the recording of electroretinograms and electrical potentials of the human visual cortex.

  • SweepVEP

A simple and reliable method for the objective assessment of visual acuity by optimizing the stimulus used in commercially available systems and by improving the methods of evaluation using a nonlinear function, the modified Ricker model.

  • TSTT

Measurement of the dark-adaptation threshold plays a key role in the diagnosis and estimation of the disease progression of many retinal disorders.

  • ERG Explorer

The ERG Explorer is a JavaTM software, which allows for the independence of the platform and operating system.
